Devastating aftershocks of the COVID-19 crisis are putting the lives and futures of tens of millions of children at risk—in many cases hitting children and families in poverty harder than the disease itself.
There are so many people in need today. Tens and thousands of people are struggling to recover the aftershocks of COVID, but heavy monsoon rains recently in Sindh, Pakistan have multiplied miseries of people.
A lot of people have lost their lives due to this rain-flooding up till now. Whereas the risk of several more casualties lurks around and many houses have been partially or totally destroyed. This is the time for us to show “Akhuwat” as a nation and help our brothers and sisters in the entire Sindh.
Thank you for your support and your prayers: for those who are sick and quarantined, for families who’ve lost loved ones, and for children and families who are struggling with the secondary impacts of this pandemic.
Your generous donation could be the difference between a child going to bed hungry or eating a nutritious meal. Akhuwat does whatever it takes to deliver lifesaving food to children and families most in need, by providing meals, distributing staples during emergencies and delivering food COVID-cum-Rain-affected victims.
